Silo Aeration
We present here a silo aeration system , increasing the efficiency of bulk material cement and fly ash administration.
In concrete batching plants we often encounter problems using the cement screw feeders to transport cement from silo to weighing scale.
Cement caking or sticking to the walls of the silo " hangs" , which leads to the formation of voids between the screw feeder and high dump silo. The most commonly used solution to this problem is a rubber mallet hitting the outer surface of the silo , this is the less effective way, above all, causes damage to the paint layer and the formation of corrosion. The surfaces of the silo are deformed at even more exacerbating the problem .
We offer the use of aeration system , which is not only efficient but also does not damage the silo . The air flowing from the nozzle puts the contents of the silo in a spiral motion clearing the wall with sticky agglomerates.
The system consists of aeration nozzles , which must be welded in the wall of the silo at the height of the conical surface (on the high dump ) .
Nozzles combines flexible pneumatic tubes supplied with the pneumatic system of the plant. Air supply to the nozzle controls the elektrovalve operated manually from the operator panel.
